The Council for Critical Minerals Development in the Global South aims to deliver tailored data and analytics and facilitate south-south and international collaboration to support emerging economies and build secure mineral supply chains that anchor domestic industrialization and development goals.
We develop tailored data and analytics to support decision-making on domestic beneficiation and value chain development opportunity, as well as key cooperation areas on policy, investment, technology and trade.
We foster collaboration and partnership amongst countries and other stakeholders, including national and local governments, investment and trade facilitation agencies, the private sector and community groups, necessary to mobilize action on South-South cooperation opportunities.
We strengthen the knowledge and information exchange framework between countries on industrial policy design, technology access, value chain investment opportunities, local community engagement and socio-economic implications.
We facilitate consensus building and support platforms to amplify Global South priorities on value addition and industrialization across key global and regional forums and multilateral processes.
