Sakshi Chandra
UN Energy Engagement Officer, SEforALL

Sakshi Chandra is a UN-Energy Engagement Officer with SEforALL and recently served as UN Advisor on Clean Energy to the UN Resident Coordinator, Indonesia.

 In this role, she supported the Government of Indonesia and the UN Country Team in advancing inclusive energy transition pathways, through development of NDC 3.0 and the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP). She also led strategic analysis and multi-stakeholder coordination on decarbonization priorities for the upcoming Indonesia, UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2026–2030).

At SEforALL, Sakshi works across global platforms to drive partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and communications for initiatives including the Energy Compacts, Just & Inclusive Energy Compact, 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy Compact, Renewable Energy Manufacturing, Critical Minerals Council and the Energy Compact Action Network. Her work supports countries and institutions in accelerating SDG7 action and expanding clean energy access, with a focus on representation from the Global South.

Sakshi brings experience across the UN system, civil society, and multilateral development institutions, including the World Bank, India’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UN Under Secretary General’s Office, and the Aangan Trust among others. She continues to champion equity-centered climate action. Sakshi is an MCW Global fellow and holds advanced degrees from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and the Harvard Kennedy School.
